Children’s Biomechanical Pathway
Our children’s biomechanical pathway is designed for children experiencing issues with walking patterns, foot deformities, sports injuries, or pain in the foot, ankle, knee, or hip.
At the new patient assessment, if biomechanical concerns are identified, your child will be offered a place on the pathway, which includes:
– Up to 4 appointments (including the initial assessment)
– Advanced gait analysis
– Assessment of strength, flexibility, and foot posture
– Individualised treatment plans including stretching, strengthening, strapping, orthotics if required, and footwear advice.* Please note: Orthotics are an additional cost if they are recommended as part of your child’s treatment plan.

This structured approach allows us to monitor your child’s progress closely, adapt treatment as needed, and make referrals for further diagnostics or second opinions if necessary. Our experienced team, many of whom have personal experience supporting neurodiverse children or children with anxiety, work to make every appointment calm, positive, and supportive.
