At The Foot Room, we understand that visiting a clinic can be overwhelming for neurodiverse children or those with phobias and anxiety. Many of our team members have neurodiverse family members, including children, giving us personal insight into the importance of a calm, understanding, and adaptable approach.

Before your child’s appointment, you’ll have the opportunity to fill in a section on our patient form, allowing you to share any important details that will help us create the best experience for them. Whether it’s sensory sensitivities, communication preferences, or specific calming techniques, we will tailor our approach to suit your child’s individual needs.

We take a holistic approach, ensuring that every visit is as stress-free as possible. We encourage parents to discuss any concerns with us beforehand, and we are happy to make adjustments to help your child feel more at ease. Our goal is to provide a positive, reassuring, and supportive experience so they leave feeling confident and cared for.
